1) What is the registration fee?
The registration fee is 300 dollars. 2) Is the registration fee refundable if the team is not selected?
Registration Check's are non-refundable for $300 regardless of your team's acceptance to the
competition. An additional $150 registration check will be required only from those teams that are
accepted to compete.
3) How many teams will compete?
There will be 8 - 10 teams. The focus will be on the quality of the teams and not the number.
4) Who are the judges?
Name of the judges will not be disclosed until the day of the competition.
5) Are there different categories in the competition - e.g. dhol based, music based etc?
There is no categorization. Each element (e.g. sammi, luddi, sialkoti, jhoomar etc.) will carry its weight
knowing how well it is performed.
6) Which team will have advantage - performing traditional, live or music based?
There will not be any biasing. Please refer to the registration packet for the details about judging.
7) What will be the judging criteria?

8) Will you provide the hotel stay?
We have made arrangements with the local hotel. The booking and other relevant information will be
available on the website soon. If a team chooses to stay at a different place it is their choice. Teams
coming from more than 500 miles will be provided transportation from the airport to the hotel and from
hotel to the competition venue and 4 rooms for one night.
